UP Weather News: Monsoon is active these days in most states across the country. Heavy rain is expected in many states of the country today i.e. on Monday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a heavy rain alert in many districts of UP today i.e. on 5th September. From the capital Lucknow to Noida and Ghaziabad, an atmosphere of humidity is visible. There was a possibility of thunderstorms on Monday by the Meteorological Department, but once again the effect of the changed movement of monsoon has been shown.
Yellow orange alert for rain has been issued in 20 districts of Uttar Pradesh. There are 3 cyclonic systems active across the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the Monsoon Trough is moving north from its normal position at sea level. Due to the strong sunshine for the last two days, the temperature has also increased significantly. On behalf of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of humid and light rain in the capital Lucknow on Sunday. Due to 84 percent humidity, people are feeling humid since morning.
The districts where the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain. They include Lucknow, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabirnagar, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Sonbhadra and Chandauli. According to the Meteorological Department, since the onset of monsoon this year, 44 percent rainfall has been reduced so far. Looking at the monsoon, it was estimated that more than 600 mm of rain would fall this time, but till August this figure could not even cross 350 mm. In September, the average rainfall over the entire UP has been predicted to be 110 percent more than the normal.
