Rahul along with other leaders will undertake a 3,570 km long journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. During this, he will not sleep in a 5 star hotel, but in a container.
According to the report of ANI, sleeping beds, toilets and air conditioners have been installed in the container in which Rahul Gandhi will stay during his visit. Sources said, “Around 60 containers have been arranged and sent towards Kanyakumari, where a village will be set up. In which all these containers are kept. The container is parked at a new place for night rest every day. Will be done.

The morning batch will run from 7 am to 10.30 am and the evening batch will run from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. There is a plan to walk about 22 to 23 km daily. The evening batch will be elaborate and public participation will be seen in it. As per the route map, the India Jodi Yatra will touch on these 20 major places, which include Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Nilambur, Mysore, Bellary, Raichur, Vikarabad, Nanded, Jalgaon Jamod, Indore, Kota, Dausa, Alwar, Bulandshahr, Delhi, Ambala , Pathankot, Jammu, Srinagar.

Congress general secretary KC Venugopal and Jairam Ramesh along with senior party leader and in-charge of travel organization committee Digvijay Singh took stock of the preparations near ‘Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam’.
