People from Sultanganj to Saran have been victims of crocodile, but the hunter crocodile of Munger comes out of the water in the dark of night and returns to the water before dawn after hunting the cattle. The people of the whole area are in panic due to this predatory crocodile. Villagers say that this crocodile is still making small cattle its morsel, but if it is not caught, then the crocodile should not attack humans anywhere.
For the last few days, there has been a flood situation in Munger. However, now the flood water has started receding due to the low water level of the Ganges river. Despite this, after the Bariarpur block, the people of the victim village are afraid. Actually, a crocodile has come to the rural areas after getting swept away in the flood. In the Bengali Tola, Raghunathpur, Kalyanpur and Ghorghat areas of Bariarpur block, the flood water entered the villages, in such a situation the crocodile that came in the flood has come to the village. Villagers told that this crocodile is taking the opportunity to make small cattle its prey at night. The crocodile is sometimes openly visible to the villagers in the mango orchard and sometimes in the flood waters, whose villagers have also made a video.
Crocodile reached the railway track
For the first time crocodile has been seen in Munger, it is not like that. Even before this crocodile has been seen in the coastal areas of the Ganges adjoining Munger. After the flood water has receded, now the crocodile has come to the villages and has become a problem for the villagers. Bhado Mandal, a resident of Bengali Tola, told that the villagers have come on the railway track to avoid the flood waters. He told that the cattle are tied there. The crocodile has come along with the flood waters till the railway track. In Bahiyar is making cattle its prey.
Villagers are very afraid of crocodile coming into the villages. Zilla Parishad member Durgesh Singh told that the villagers of Bariyarpur are very scared that crocodile has entered their area along with the flood water. This information has been given by them to the officials, but the fear of the villagers is still not getting over. Crocodiles are eating the cattle of the villagers.
