Ranchi: The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand took many big decisions in the cabinet meeting held yesterday amid political turmoil. One of which was in relation to the education of the children of the other block in the model school. In fact, seats of students remained vacant in 89 model schools operating in the state. In view of this, approval was given on the proposal to prepare a waiting list for the nomination of seats.
It also agreed to enroll from the waiting list and recommend the eligible students for enrollment by the school management committee and the committee constituted at the district level. Let us inform that at present, admission of children of the concerned block was allowed in the schools. Due to this, about 50 percent seats were being left vacant. Now the children of the blocks nearest to the schools will also be able to enroll.
4120.29 crore sanctioned:
The cabinet gave approval from PFC for Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme or RDSS to improve the quality and reliability of power supply and reduce AT&C losses. Along with this, administrative approval was given for the revised estimated amount of 4120.29 crore.
