Hyundai Creta Facelitft has been launched by the company in many countries including Indonesia, Thailand and South Africa. But the facelifted version of this mid-size SUV has not arrived in India. It is reported that more cosmetic and features will be added to this facelifted SUV than the current model.
The second gen model of Hyundai Creta SUV came in the market in the year 2020. It is still in high demand with some 6 months waiting period. According to the information revealed, the Hyundai Creta Facelift can be launched in India by the first quarter of 2023. So in this report, let us tell you what will be special in this model.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: The front fascia of this mid-size SUV will be similar to that of the Hyundai Tucson. It will see ‘sensuous sportiness’. The new parametric front grille will cover a significant portion of the front fascia and will also get fin-shaped LED DRLs. Looking at the leaked pictures, it can be said that its headlamp cluster has been placed at the bottom of the bumper. It also has separate units for low and high beam along with indicators. It is reported that the Creta Facelift will get 17-inch alloy wheels.
Interior and features of 2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift: According to the information revealed, the interior of the SUV is going to be similar to the current model. It will get an all-black dashboard finish. However, the India-specific model is expected to get a new digital instrument cluster. This new cluster will be limited to the top-end variants. On the other hand, the analog unit will be available with MID in the lower variants.
The 10.25-inch infotainment unit in the Hyundai Creta SUV will be equipped with a new interface and some advanced features. Also, there will be minor changes in its upholstery. It is reported that features like 360-degree parking camera, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology, blind spot monitoring system can also be seen in the Creta facelift.
Powertrain of 2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift: According to media reports, this SUV will not see any machinery changes. Like before, it is being given the option of 1.5-litre MPi petrol, 1.5-litre CRDi diesel and 1.4-litre tGDi turbo petrol engine. There will also be a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed iVT and 7-speed DCT for transmission duties.
