Sarkari Naukri: The state government is all set to recruit 89,000 teachers . However, the recruitment which was supposed to take three months took a year. The reason for this is public interest litigation. Well, no matter how late, this is good news for government job seekers. Criticizing the opposition, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that we want to give jobs and some people are engaged in stopping jobs. Ms Banerjee said that whenever the state government starts the process of appointment to the vacant posts, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) is filed in the Calcutta High Court regarding this. The state government is ready to fill up the vacant posts, but attempts are being made to stop it again and again by resorting to law.
The Chief Minister mentioned about the colleges and universities built during the Trinamool era after 2011 . Regarding the appointment of teachers in the coming days, he said, “2 lakh 63 thousand teachers and non-teaching staff have been appointed by the School Education Department. 10 thousand university teachers have been appointed. Another 89 thousand teachers will be appointed. Mamta Banerjee has also expressed her government’s desire to give jobs.
Trained youth will get job in skill department
Regarding the recruitment, the Chief Minister said, “I will hand over the recruitment letters to 30,000 children trained in the skill department in the next 15 days.” Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also said that apart from providing training to job seekers through skill development, the state government has created a portal for all companies looking for job seekers.
The curriculum will include ‘moral education’
The Chief Minister has directed to promote moral education for the students, he believes that it should be included in the reading lessons. He told Education Minister Bratya Basu that there should be a separate syllabus on moral character building and it should be taught every day where the students are. It is advisable to have a syllabus on character building.
Date extended for submission of online details for Tet pass certificate
The date for submission of online details for pass certificate of Tet-2014 has been extended. A release in this regard was issued by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. It has been said in the release that the date of submission of online details for issuance of Tet-2014 pass certificate has been extended till 30 September 2022. This decision has been taken considering that some candidates are finding it difficult to submit their details.
