Mathura News: 9 people of the Bhura gang, who were convicted in the kidnapping of a person 16 years ago in Mathura, have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the court. In Monday’s hearing, a convict could not appear in the court, for which the court has issued non-bailable warrants. On September 3, the court convicted 8 people and sent them to jail. After a long hearing that lasted for 16 years, the court has issued this big decision.
According to the information received, Vinod Shankar Sharma, a resident of Pirpanch Gali in the city’s Kotwali area, had left his house for a walk on the morning of December 28, 2006, but he did not return home. After which his son-in-law Yogesh Sharma lodged a missing complaint in Kotwali. The police and the family members of Vinod Shankar were constantly looking for him.
Released with a ransom of 4 lakhs
After some time there was a call for ransom on the relatives and a demand of Rs 80 lakh was made to release Vinod Shankar Sharma. Whose information was given by the relatives in Kotwali. So the police converted the missing case into kidnapping. At the same time, the kidnappers released Vinod Shankar Sharma by taking a ransom of 4 lakhs.
