Haryana: By spraying red on CCTV camera, miscreants uprooted ATM full of 17.37 lakh rupees, police engaged in investigation

Chandigarh: Big news of loot has come out from Panipat, Haryana. In fact, in Gohana Chowk of the city, miscreants have carried out an ATM robbery incident in a very clever way. The thieves first sprayed on the CCTV camera and then took away the ATM. In this case, the police have registered a case and formed five teams to nab the miscreants.

First Reiki then thieves took away cash worth Rs 17.37 lakh

The incident took place at ICICI Bank’s Gohana Road in Panipat, where miscreants in the XUV car first searched the surrounding area on Sunday morning and then uprooted the ATM, in which cash worth Rs 17.37 lakh was present. Before committing the crime, the miscreants sprayed red on the CCTV camera installed in the ATM.

ATM pulled with the help of rope and car

According to the CCTV footage installed at the petrol pump located near the ATM, the thieves had come in the XUV car. He took the help of a rope to dislodge the ATM. The thieves first tied one end of the rope to the ATM, while the other end was tied to the car. After tying both of them tightly, they jolted the car three or four times, after which the ATM came out of the way and they took it away.

Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received

As soon as the police department got the information about the incident, there was a stir in the department. The station president, SP, DSP, reached the crime scene located in Sector-29. After the inspection, the SP constituted five different teams and directed them to nab the miscreants soon. However, till Monday morning, no trace of the miscreants could be found. Raids are being conducted by the police at different places.
