Now it will be possible to be selected to enter the University of São Paulo (USP) through a new form by Enem USP!
From the Enem taken this year, it will be possible to join the university on the first day of class, something that was previously impossible to happen, and ends up harming students a lot. The calls were delayed because they depended on a public notice from the Ministry of Education.
How does Enem USP entry work?
Using this system, students can use their Enem score to apply for a vacancy at USP; instead of putting the note in Sisu, the interested person can enroll directly through the Fuvest website, where USP itself will manage so that delays do not occur, and students can enter the university on the same day as the students who took the exam. Fuvest.
Apparently, the public notice will be released later this week, with a fee of R$ 10. It is worth noting that students who fall into special categories, such as self-declared black, brown and indigenous students, will not pay the fee.
“I think that the arrival of students, sometimes more than a month late, 45 days late, greatly affected the performance of these students and their own integration. The university, at the time of admission, is a critical moment of acceptance and reinforcement of the sense of belonging”
Aluisio Segurado, Dean of Graduation at USP.
What is the competition to enter Enem USP?
The university has fewer vacancies for freshmen who opt for this form: today, there are 11,747 vacancies, of which 8,211 are from the Fuvest entrance exam, and 2,936 belong to Enem USP enrollees.
Medicine (São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto and Bauru) continues to be the most competitive, with 118 candidates per vacancy. Next, we have Psychology, with 70.6, and International Relations, with 54.7.
