Mexico’s GDP advances 0.9% in the 3rd quarter compared to the 2nd, shows second reading

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Mexico rose 0.9% in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter, according to the second reading of the indicator, released this Friday, 25, by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography ( Inegi, in the acronym in Spanish).

The result represents a slight downward revision of the data, which in the first reading showed an increase of 1% in the period.

Compared to the same quarter of 2021, on the other hand, the Mexican GDP was revised to an increase of 4.3% in the months of July to September, from 4.2% previously.
