see how to order yours! Limit of up to BRL 5 MIL

Brazil recorded the highest number of defaulters at the beginning of this year, according to information from the Indebtedness and Default Survey, carried out by the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC). Due to these debts, applying for a credit card becomes difficult, which is why Nubank is offering services to people with this profile.

These services are aimed at those who are negative or have a low score on Serasa, and will grant higher limits for those who do not.

The tool will use your account balance as a partial or total reserve to use as credit. That is, if a customer wants to make a purchase of R$400.00, he can transfer that amount to his account and this will be reserved to be his new credit limit.

How to use the tool?

An important point to remember is that when the customer makes this change, he will have the amount blocked in his account until the card bill is paid. When the payment is made, the amount is released normally. However, if the person does not pay by the due date, the bank will automatically use the balance to settle the account.

The bank also informed that customers will be able to use up to R$5,000 in this tool. See below the step by step to start using this new service:

  • Enter the Nubank application;
  • Access the credit cards menu;
  • Tap the “Adjust limit” tab;
  • Finally, click on “Book as a limit” and enter the amount you want.
