YouTube suspends revenue from “Jovem Pan” channels due to misinformation

YouTube announced this Wednesday (23) the suspension of monetization of channels of the communication group Young pan🇧🇷 According to the video platform, the channels violated a series of company guidelines.

A note sent by YouTube to the website Power360 cites the program “Pingos nos I’s” as responsible for cutting the monetization of Young panfor violating policies against spreading misinformation during the October elections.

On the first of November the YouTube had already announced that it would delete publications and content that contested the result of the election in Brazil. In addition to misinformation, YouTube accuses Young pan violating advertising guidelines, matters involving controversial and sensitive issues, and sharing “dangerous and harmful acts”🇧🇷
