Shooting attacks in Espírito Santo schools leave three dead

A shooting attack carried out by a student in the city of Aracruz, in Espírito Santo, left at least three dead, in addition to eight injured, in two schools in the municipality. Still according to the PM, he entered the teachers’ room and other rooms at the Primo Bitti school, armed with a pistol and several magazines, and fired several shots, killing two people and injuring four.

After that, he got into a car and invaded a private school in the same neighborhood, the Centro Educacional Praia de Coqueiral (CEPC), firing new shots. At least one person died and four were injured.

The injured were taken to area hospitals. The teenager identified as responsible for the shooting has already been identified.

Through his Twitter profile, the governor of Espírito Santo, Renato Casagrandelamented the attack. “With a feeling of regret and great sadness, I am closely following the investigation into the invasion of the Primo Bitti and Darwin Schools, in Aracruz. All our security forces are engaged. Determine the displacement of Sec. of Security and Education to accompany the work”.

The city hall of Aracruz released a note informing that classes in the municipal network were suspended today at the request of the PM.
