Bolsa Família was replaced by Auxílio Brasil in October 2021. Despite the change, the molds remain basically the same, a benefit for the most socially and financially vulnerable layer of the population. In 2023 the return of the old program is taken for granted, as well as the transition to Auxílio Brasil, the replacement is only in the name of the project.
So far, two changes will be made to the aid rules. First, family monitoring will return as an analysis measure to release values. In addition, an increase of up to R$ 300 will be increased for families that have two or more children under six years of age. Some measures used in the coming years are below:
- Action coordinated with the Unified Social Assistance System (Suas);
- Partnership between municipalities and states;
- Monitoring conditionalities in education, to guarantee the right to school;
- Medical and vaccination follow-up.
If the Bolsa Família application in 2023 follows the Auxílio Brasil standard, we will have the following format. Interested parties must have their registration and data updated in the Single Registry (CadÚnico). In addition, families must meet the requirements established with regard to the situation of poverty and extreme poverty.
How Bolsa Família will work in 2023
The first transition will be automatic, that is, those who have an up-to-date registration and no issues need not worry. The transition is simple, as happened in the transition from Bolsa Família to Auxílio Brasil. In this way, it is not necessary to register again for the “new” benefit.
For the process to happen without worries for the beneficiary, it is important to pay attention to the Cadastro Único. Registration information, status and installments can be accessed through the Auxílio Brasil application itself, available for Android and IOS, requiring login by CPF.
