Auxílio Brasil cards began to be shipped in July 2022, with 3.2 million units produced. The shipment is being carried out gradually to part of the beneficiaries, by the address listed in the Single Registry (CadÚnico). It is not necessary to order the card.
In addition to the numbering, the card has the beneficiary’s name and Social Identification Number (NIS). It is possible to make purchases in the debit mode with the card, which has the Elo brand, in addition to withdrawing at 24-hour Bank tellers.
How to unlock the Auxílio Brasil card
Upon receiving the card, it is possible to unblock it by calling 111, the person responsible for assisting with the program. In the call, the citizen must follow the instructions and then appear at a bank branch, at lottery houses or through the Caixa Tem app, available on the Play Store for Android devices and on the App Store for iOS devices.
When requesting the release, it is necessary to have the National Identification Card (CIN), the Social Identification Number (NIS), which is printed on the card, and the Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF) in hand.
Who can receive the Auxílio Brasil card?
The Auxílio Brasil card is available to program beneficiaries. To be a beneficiary of the program, you must have an updated CadÚnico and:
- Integrate a family in extreme poverty, with a monthly per capita family income of up to R$105;
- Integrate a family in a situation of poverty, with a per capita monthly family income between R$105.01 and R$210, which has pregnant women or people under the age of 21 among its members;
How to track Auxílio Brasil card
There is no criterion for the selection of the first beneficiaries who received and will receive the card. The Auxílio Brasil application, available on the Play Store and App Store, does not yet allow tracking of the benefit card, which can be done by telephone 4004-0104, in capitals and metropolitan regions or 0800-1040104 in other regions.
