Bolsonaristas block Anhanguera Highway in Campinas and damage trucks

Bolsonaristas blocked two sections of the Anhanguera Highway, in Campinas, São Paulo, in the early hours of this Wednesday (23). The group demonstrates against the result of the elections. In addition to blocking, the group damaged trucks.

The Military Police were called in and dispersed the two Bolsonarist acts on the highway. The first interdiction point happened near km 99 of the highway. The group threw rubble and dirt on the track, inland, to cause the blockage.

The second roadblock was at km 105, towards the capital of São Paulo. The group cut air hoses from at least ten trucks. For two hours, a long queue of cars formed. When the police arrived at the scene, the group fled.

Workers at the concessionaire that manages the stretch helped repair the broken down trucks. The highway was fully reopened at 4 am.
