Bihar Sharif. After the Corona period of the last two years, this year, tremendous enthusiasm of Durga Puja is being seen among the residents of the district. To increase this enthusiasm of the people, dozens of worship committees of the city have once again started fast in the construction of Durga idols and Puja pandals one after the other. Somewhere the artisans of Bengal and the artisans of Jharkhand are sweating in giving a grand and attractive look to the idols and pandals.
This year Durga Puja will begin with the installation of Kalash on 26 September. Right now it is about three weeks for the worship to begin. Despite this, the worship committees of the district are eager to get the idols of Maa Durga and the grand pandal constructed at the earliest. The enthusiasm of enjoying the Dussehra fair for the first time after the Corona period is also gaining momentum among the residents of the district. People have already started trying to find out which worship committee is constructing which idol and which pandal this year.
A large number of devotees come here during Dussehra.
By the way, there is no answer for Durga Puja and Dussehra in the district. Every year more than one Durga idols and puja pandals are being constructed here. A large number of devotees from the district as well as the neighboring districts come here during Dussehra especially to see the idols installed at different places of the city. This increases the enthusiasm of the worship committees of the district. All the worship committees have put their strength in making the best idols and pandals here.

Veer Bal Sangh Pulpar has made a special contribution in the Dussehra Mela of the district. Here every year a grand bangla art statue of Maa Durga is made. Seeing its beauty, people press their fingers under their teeth. Similarly, the worship pandal here also remains the center of special attraction for the visitors. This year also, the format of Akshardham Temple Delhi is being made here in Dussehra. Its height will be about 70 feet and will be made of white cloth with the help of wood and plywood.
About 18 lakh rupees were spent on the construction of the dal.
Puja committee chairman Kanchan Kumar said that this year about 18 lakh rupees will be spent on the construction of the statue and the pandal. He told that the pandal is being constructed by Sandeep Adhikari alias Kalu Mistry, a famous artisan of Bengal. Similarly, idols of Maa Durga are being made by Prabhat Pal, an artisan from Kolkata, Bengal. For about two months, a dozen artisans are engaged in the work. The pandal and statue will be constructed before Dussehra.
