All efforts are being made by the government to increase the attendance of children in the school, but the situation on the ground is not improving. DEO Ajay Kumar Singh inspected two schools of Saraiya block on Tuesday, where he expressed displeasure after seeing the very bad condition. On the low attendance of the children, the DEO has sought an explanation from the concerned headmasters. Said that if the situation does not improve, then action will be taken against the teachers including the headmaster. However, the teachers say that studies take place in the school. But still the children do not come. In such a situation, what can teachers do apart from motivating the parents?

When DEO Jagat Singh reached Manikpur Higher Secondary School, there were only 12 children in the school. Some teachers were on leave. During the inspection, the headmaster and a teacher were engaged in admission. A teacher was teaching 12 children sitting. At the same time, other teachers were sitting in the room and talking among themselves. According to the records of the school, about 1300 students have been enrolled here from class IX to XII. In such a situation, the presence of only 12 children raises a big question. The DEO said that action will also be taken against the teachers who are negligent. The DEO also inspected the nearby Project Girls High School, Saraiya. There is an enrollment of 1178 girl students, but 43 girl students were present in the school. There are 10 teachers, of which eight were present. The girls were studying in the class room. The DEO said that the low attendance in both the schools is worrying. Reply has been sought from the Principals in this regard.
This is the condition of most of the schools in the area.
This is the condition of most of the schools in the area. Children are enrolled in the school but children do not come. A parent told that studies in government schools are not good. In such a situation, the future of the children gets spoiled. But many schemes are available in government schools. In such a situation, a large number of people get their children’s names written in government as well as private schools. With this, children continue to get the benefits of government schemes along with education.
