Jharkhand News: In Ramgarh district, a person got washed away in the river while crossing the culvert. His whereabouts could not be traced till late in the evening. The matter is near Chhinnamastika Temple located in Rajrappa block . The incident took place on Saturday in the Bhairavi river located at the Rajrappa temple. Till late in the evening no trace of this could be found.
Santosh Manjhi was going to Chhinnamastika temple
It is said that Santosh Manjhi (35 years) , a resident of Piprajara of Gola police station area, was going to Rajrappa’s Chhinnamastika temple on Saturday morning after crossing the culvert built on the Bhairavi river. During this the water level of Bhairavi river had increased. The peel culvert was submerged in water.
did not stop even when people stopped
The local people had repeatedly forbade him to cross the culvert. But, he did not listen to the words of the people. He kept on moving forward. Meanwhile, he was swept away by a strong current of water. However, the young man tried to swim to the shore, but he kept on swaying in the strong current of the water.
Santosh got absorbed in Damodar river from Bhairavi
Seeing this, the young man got absorbed in the Damodar river from the Bhairavi river. An attempt was made to trace Santosh Manjhi with the help of people and fishermen. Satisfaction could not be found till the time of writing the news.

It has been raining in the area for two consecutive days. Because of this the Bhairavi river is in spate. Many shops here were also submerged due to the rise in the water level of the river. On the other hand, Rajrappa Temple Trust Committee made an announcement from Mike and appealed to the people to stay away from the river.
